Call 1 2026: Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants

We are pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 call for Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC). This is an open call with continuous submission and rolling evaluation.

Call deadlines

  • Final evaluation round (last cut-off date for applications): 01 August 2026 16:00 CEST.
  • Applicants will be notified of the evaluation outcomes within three weeks of submission.
  • 30 September 2026: final date for completing activities.

Important note: The evaluation of grant applications and the issuance of a formal decision regarding approval must be completed prior to the applicant’s start date of the conference grants. Applicants should ensure that their submission is made before the deadline date preceding the conference they plan to attend.

How to apply

Carefully read the ITC Conference Grants Guidelines before applying. Follow these steps to submit your application:

  • Review the ITC Conference Grants Guidelines
  • Prepare the required documents
    • Complete the ANTICIPATE ITC Conference Grants form and save it as a PDF document. The ANTICIPATE template can be found below. 
    • Copy of the abstract of the accepted oral presentation.
    • Acceptance mail or invitation letter from the conference organizer committee, confirming the oral presentation.
    • Copy of the information sheet of the conference.
    • Provide the letter of Support from the applicant’s supervisor (in case of PhD students and post-docs).
    • Updated CV in e-COST profile.
  • Submit your application:
    • Log in to your e-COST profile (or create one if you don’t have an account) and complete the electronic application form available here.

After the ITC Conference Grants

  • Ensure that you obtain a certificate of attendance and a copy of the conference programme.  
  • Prepare your report. Use the ANTICIPATE ITC Conference Grant Report Template, which can be downloaded below. 
  • Submit the report: Upload the completed report to e-COST no later than 30 days after the activity’s conclusion, and/or 20 days from the end date of the Grant Period, or, within a shorter timeframe if requested by the Grant Holder or Grant Awarding Coordinator to meet reporting deadlines.
  • For dissemination purposes: A very short summary (maximum 280 characters, including spaces) including a photo or a short video during the conference (uploaded separately in e-COST).
